I grew up in Northern, MN and graduated from St. Francis High School. My original plan was not to go into dental, but to go into dermatology. I worked part time as a Dental Coordinator and quickly grew to love the position. With my love for math, I eventually grew to become an Office Manager, which led me to University Ave Dental.
My favorite part about the dental field is helping patients understand insurance as well as organizing their treatment plans to best fit their needs and lifestyle.
Outside of Dental I enjoy gardening, keeping up with my chickens, and hiking. I also have a dog (Duke) who comes with me on all my outdoor adventures.
I graduated from St. Cloud Technical College in 2003 with an associate of science degree for Dental Hygiene. Before I became a dental hygienist I was a dental assistant. I enjoy helping patients improve their health. I am new to University Ave Dental and am excited to meet new faces.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband and I have twin boys in soccer and karate. I love watching them play! We also have a dog named Lulu that we got from the Coon Rapids humane society.
I was born in St. Cloud and grew up in Maple Grove. I attended St. Cloud Technical & Community College for Dental Hygiene and also earned my Bachelor’s degree in Business from St. Cloud State University.
My favorite part of being a dental hygienist is getting to meet new people and build relationships with them. The dental office can feel intimidating for some patients, so I enjoy creating a comfortable environment where we can talk about dentistry, life, and everything in between.
Outside of work, I love staying active with my dog, Lady. She’s a German Shepherd mix who came into my life as a foster while I was in college and has been my best friend ever since. We love spending time outdoors and going on adventures together.
I also enjoy traveling and have taken several solo trips. When I’m not exploring somewhere new, you’ll often find me reading or spending time with my twin sister at our book club.
Jen enjoys connecting with her patients, helping them to overcome dental anxiety, and educating them on their dental health.
Jen grew up in Iowa and currently lives outside of St. Francis, Minnesota, with her husband and two young children.
In her free time, Jen enjoys exploring the outdoors with her family.
I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree. Since then, I have worked in a handful of customer-facing jobs in different fields. I planned to go back to school to become a hygienist, but had the opportunity to work front desk and learn more about dental insurance. It’s been a privilege getting to learn something new everyday and help patients best utilize their benefits.
During my time away from work, I keep myself busy with baking, gardening, and camping. My goal is to get a nice strawberry patch to share with family and to bake with!
I was born and raised in Oklahoma and relocated to Minnesota in 2023. I am currently pursuing my education in dental hygiene. I have developed a strong passion for working with patients and helping them better understand their dental treatment and insurance benefits. I enjoy building positive relationships with patients and making their experiences as comfortable and informative as possible.
Outside of work and school, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. I also love trying new things, staying active, and keeping myself busy with new experiences and opportunities.
I am currently completing my pre-requisites for the Dental Assistant program at Hennepin Technical College. At first, I didn’t know what I wanted to do for college, but since entering the dental field, it has captured my interest and passion for dentistry.
I work both at the front desk and as an assistant, and I enjoy the unique experiences each role offers.
Once licensed, I’m interested in specializing in either oral surgery or orthodontics, but I love working here with our doctors.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also have three cats, including my orange cat, Maple, who loves food more than anything!
